Sometimes it's easy to forget how amazing Alice in Chains were. God rest Layne Staley, 'cause that man had one hell of a soul-rending voice on him.

Hi, I went back in your earlier posts to see if you had any other Alice in Chains listening suggestions (going to listen to Sunshine when I've posted this). Your '5 albums before you die' post came up, so I went out and bought Dig (as a bonus it was a double cd deal that included their Mtv unplugged performance). You're absolutely right, Dig sounds like the biography of a drug abuser. You've created a new fan, thank you. :)

Good for you, Alice is Chains is incredible. I haven't heard their new album yet (AIC isn't AIC without Layne, IMO) but if you end up buying that too, tell me what you think of it.
