What's good, masses?

Just finished Chappie Five of "Elizabeth Harvey". It didn't take long to write, which is something I find increasingly typical of first-person fiction. I don't know why but it feels easier to write a person's thoughts than it is to jump from perspective to perspective. Another thing too -- I'm realizing how tricky "sex language" is. You know what I mean. Those dirty words you use for sex or sexual organs i.e. "teabagging" or "boobs".

I tend to find that unless I'm gunning for out and out word porno, I really have to choose my words carefully in sex scenes. For example, I don't like the word "pussy" and so I only use it sparingly, but when I start running out of synonyms I don't have much choice. Euphemisms (like say, calling a vagina a "honey pot") only work up to a point, after which they start sounding silly. But of course you can't use too many actual names like "vulva" or "cunnilingus" because they make the scene sound... medical, I suppose. I think the secret to the language of a good sex scene is balance, between the dirty words and the medical ones, much like anything in life.
