The next chapter of Piper + Meredith is right here, ready (I think!) for you to read. I had a bit more trouble than usual with this one because I was very mixed as to how I wanted Meredith to react to Piper after what Kristen revealed. All in all I think her reaction is... unfair, but understandable on an emotional level. I wouldn't like writing Merry half as much if I made her keep her cool all the time.

AHH!! This is getting better and better with every chapter. Like I've said, best of your work that I've read! I can't wait for the next chapters and now it's killing me since you said that the next ones are going to be the big steps in Piper and Meredith's relationship. Keep it up, Kaiser!!!

I have a question: Did you just recently decide that Terry had died in Afghanistan, or was that something you'd had in mind all along? Reading back over Chapter 1, I noticed Zach had made a comment suggesting he was not aware of Terry's demise. I guess that's one of the drawbacks of writing in a serial format.

Anyway I love your style of writing it's very diffrent but easy to get into and pull the reader in.I'm enjoying the other stories and will give you props in my blog (I'm starting to give shout outs to good and bad books and fanfiction) Anyway I would add more but do you really want to read it? hmmm?

Wild Cat: I'm excited about the next couple of chapters too! The couple has been moving slowly enough as it is, the next couple of chapters will speed things up a bit, hopefully.
myunfinishedjourney: I decided that Piper's dad shouldn't be around in the planning stages of the story, long before chapter one, because I thought it made what Meredith's doing seem even more controversial (because she'd be Piper's sole guardian). As far as the story goes, only Piper, Merry and Kristen know that Terry is dead -- Zack and Ashley are still in the dark about it. It might seem odd but I think it's one of those things Piper would naturally keep from her friends, the people you least like to see pity from.
princessbabydyke: Hey, the more praise the merrier! I'm not sure your readers will like my work as much as you seem to, but I hope that they do if they end up reading some of it. Plus, if you have more to say, please do. I love to talk and converse with people.

I love all of your stories but this one might just be my favorite... so far. I wish I had more constructive things to say, but right now my brain is sleep deprived. Great job and keep going or I'll cry.
